Spanish rider Dany Torres won the battle but lost the war after taking the final X-Fighters contest of the 2008 season in Warsaw Saturday. Swiss rider Mat Rebeaud, who finished third, simply had too much of a lead in the overall standings to be knocked out.

Jeremy Lusk was knocked out of the X Games last year and was determined to make his mark this time around. He blazed through the new "Knockout" format by defeating Blake "Bilko" Williams and Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg before taking on Mat Rebeaud in the finals.
