Mason Aguirre
Mason Aguirre turned pro at the age of 15, which helps to explain how he made it to the Olympics at just 18. The youngest member of the ’06 Olympic snowboard team, he placed a respectable 4th. At 5’11”, he is one of the taller snowboarders, but his lanky frame does not hinder his style. Mason is known for his impeccably smooth spins in the halfpipe. Although he has one of the best 1080s in the business, Mason is really known for his corked 540s.Mason is part of a snowboarding family, his sister Molly is also a professional snowboarder, and the entire Aguirre clan moved from Duluth, MN to Mammoth, CA so the kids could pursue snowboarding. Apparently, it worked.
