Lat34: So you guys are from Stowe, What's it like showing up to Grand Prix's with out a half pipe to train on all season?
MS:
Unsettling
TS: Very unsettling
MS: It's unsettling because mother nature on the east coast has not given us the weather to make snow to construct half pipes.Slaughter Tucker Chris 400x600

Lat34: With that said, what is it like showing up and beating over half the field after one day of pipe training?
MS:
Gratifiying
Chris and Tucker: F*ing fantastic, its pretty crazy we can come from no pipe and show up and kill it.

Lat34: Who is your crew for the winter and what other contests are you guys doing this year? Any filming or shooting?

TS: The whole Stowe Crew, MMSC (Mount Mansfield Snowboard Club). We are doing alot of shooting with Jake Grossman-Crist this winter when we are on the west coast. We are also filming for the MMSC video this year.

Lat34: Do you feel that growing up in the harsh conditions of the east coast has helped your riding and mind set when you come out west?
TS:
For sure it does, you come from steep ice pitches then you come out to sunny slush and your like oooo its fun.
CH: It feels like you can land anything.
MS: It creats a hard core rider with work ethics superior to those of the west. And at the same time creates a respect for the conditions.

Lat34: What is it like competing against riders like Ross Powers, Goldy, Louie Vito, and Scotty Lago?
MS:
The best thing that these guys could have.
TS: It's pretty crazy to see what level thoughs guys are at, we kinda knew them years before but its wild to see them
blow up. Its really inspirational and gives us motivation to work harder just seeing the level they have gotten to.

Lat34: Awesome guys, is there anything you would like to say? Any thank you's or shout out's?
TS:
Definitely. Rome for helping me with equiptment and support and also MMSC for coaching those guys are incredible. Also I wanna thank The Ross Powers Foundation for helping me financially get out here. The foundation helps young snowboarders who are in financial need get to different contests or help offset the training costs to enable us to take our riding to the next level.
CH: I wanna thank Rome Snowboards for their support with boards boots and bindings and also Darkside snowboard  shop in Stowe VT for helping me with other equipment. Mom and Dad for sure with out them this would not happen. Also MMSC for sure, those guys make alot happen.
MS: I wanna thank my mentors, Bud Keene, Jenner Richards, and Jank. And my sponsors Stowe Mountain Resort, Forum Snowboards, Special Blend Clothing, Electric Optics, Chevy, and a big, big thank you to Gaby Devyn and Gage.
