Girl On: Alexis Waite Revisited

We first interviewed pro snowboarder Alexis Waite earlier this year for a Girl On feature that ran in April and we were happy to see that she was one of the top vote-getters in our Girl On of the Year poll that ran earlier this month.
But that really shouldn't come as a surprise. Waite is an up-and-coming star in women's snowboarding and her association with Roxy, which is fast becoming one of the premiere brands for women in any action sport, only helped.

You can read our original interview with Waite here to find out more about her background. From our interview in April to now, not too much has happened thanks to the off-season but Waite did do some filming in '07 for the new Roxy snow/ski film "Labor of Love" and Runway Films "La La Land."
In her one major event so far this season (just earlier this month) Waite placed 15th at the European Roxy Chicken Jam. You can bet she's going to be aiming a lot higher as the season progresses but there's no doubt she will continue to be one of the most exciting riders to watch on the slopes.
