2005 US Open of Snowboarding
Kelly is one of the top figures in women's snowboarding, winning the gold in 2002 at Salt Lake. The 2004-05 season was arguably her best overall season, with 12 half-pipe podium finishes and six consecutive wins. But then she had this terrible crash at the US Open of Snowboarding and was out of action for five months.
"It's hard when things don't go the way the way that you saw them going," she said of the accident.
Since then, she's struggled to maintain her standings. She managed wins at the Burton New Zealand Open and US Grand Prix, but finished fourth in the 2006 Olympics and 10th at Winter X 11.

2003 US Open of Snowboarding
Andy Finch was literally left speechless when trying to explain what happened during the second run during the pipe finals at the 2003 US Open.
When he could talk about it, he was honest that he couldn't really remember what happened.
"I hit the deck pretty hard... and kind of woke up in the flats. Where am I?"
He finished sixth in the event.
Finch is consistently one of the most exciting competitors in the sport, but injuries in 2006 at Winter X and at the Olympics have slowed him down. Still, in his 14 years on the circuit, Finch can never be underestimated.
