Dumont Wins Ski Tour Halfpipe Title
Mar 10 2007 / Squaw Valley, CA Simon Dumont took first place in halfpipe at the fourth stop of The Honda Ski Tour in Squaw Valley Saturday. His 93.50 for his second run was more than enough to keep ahead of Jossie Wells (NZ), who had a top run of 87.25. Dumont took home a check for $25K with the win, plus a new Honda Element for being crowned overall champion in halfpipe for the tour, scoring a possible 350 points out of 400 in four stops.The finale of the inaugural Honda Ski Tour wraps up Sunday with the Skiercross finals .
