Danny Davis
Danny Davis grew up riding on a gravel pit turned ski area in Michigan, so it’s a wonder how he got so good at riding halfpipe. Attending high school at Stratton Mountain School certainly helped, and within 3 years of moving out of Michigan (at age 18) Danny has become one of the strongest riders in halfpipe competition, with some of the most stylish 1080s in snowboarding.Danny has won countless Rookie of the Year awards, thanks in large part to the quickness with which he burst on to the snowboard scene. The young Michigander was just shy of making the Olympic team in ’06, in his first official season as a pro, but his victory at the US Open quarterpipe competition in 2006 really put him on the map.
