Andy Finch cut his teeth as the legendary Shaun Palmer’s protégé, and has since become one of the most powerful riders in halfpipe competitions. Though he has suffered repeated injuries to his knees and feet, Andy can be counted on to provide the biggest airs in any halfpipe competition, earning him his nickname Finch Airlines. Andy won the prestigious Arctic Challenge in 2004, and has continued to push the envelope with tricks like crippler 1080s that are often as large as his straight airs.Andy is a devoted Christian and also a talented violin player. He even played on the song “Going Home” with the Norwegian rock band Euro Boys. Andy grew up in Fresno, CA, but now makes his home in Lake Tahoe, where he trains as a member of the Collection, a group of five top pro snowboarders.
