X Games Asia Closes Out - Andy Macdonald Wins Skate Vert

The X Games Asia have wrapped up in Shanghai, with the final day of action featuring Skate Park and Vert, as well as Inline Vert and men's and women's Flash Bouldeirng.

In Skateboard Vert, Andy Macdonald took the top spot with a 90.00 best score, trailed by Sandro Dias with an 87.33.  Rune Glifberg was third with an 86.00.  Bringing up the rear were Pierre-Luc Gagnon (56.67) and Bob Burnquist (55.67).  Burnquist appeared at the first-ever X Games Asia in Thailand in 1998.

The Skateboard Park top spot was taken by Singapore's Mohd Firdaus Bin Abdul Rahman (82.00), followed by Chris Senn (80.67) and Dayne Brummet (80.33) of the US.

Check out the full results below for Skate Vert and Park.  The X Games Asia was first held in 1998 and is the most prestigious multi-event competition for action sports in Asia. Between 1998 and 2001 the event took place in Phuket, Thailand. From 2002-2004, the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur was home to the Asian X Games. In 2005, the event was hosted in Seoul, Korea before returning to Kuala Lumpur as the X Games Asia last year.
