Red Bull Announces Riders For The Manny Mania

Red Bull Manny Mania is just five days away, the manny pad is built and waiting to be destroyed by a list of skateboarding's finest.

This super tech manual contest hitting select cities all over the US debuts this weekend, Saturday, May 19th. Heated jam sessions and this fresh manny pad will be waiting for a pro showdown at the birthplace of modern skating, Venice Beach CA. 

 

 

Manny Mania is a contest series that allows tech skaters to shine from coast to coast. Developed by Red Bull and pro skater Joey Brezinski, the Venice stop kicks off the summer with an invite-only pro competition that balances the need for killer skill on a tricked-out manny pad, with the relaxed environment of the beach and friendly jam sessions. The tour moves around the country with six amateur stops judged by the Red Bull skate team, and wraps up in New York City for a pro final.

 

 

Skaters will be split into 3 to 4 man heats and will compete in 10 minute jam sessions. The skaters will be scored on their overall performance in their jam session, not scored on each trick. After all heats run, the top five will be chosen from the entire field of skaters, not from each jam individually. Each skater’s results will be calculated immediately after each jam. The top 5 will participate in a 20-minute final jam, and the top 3 will be selected.
