Push for the Cure Comes to a Teary End

After five months of traveling across Canada via longboard skateboards, the journey to benefit Breast Cancer finishes in Vancouver BC
A final journal entry from the Push for the Cure guys (Aaron Jackson, 25, Benjamin Jordan, 25, Carlos Koppen, 26 and Rob Lewis, 26):
So, tomorrow is the big day. Really tough to comprehend ... Thinking back over the past six months it's hard to believe what we've accomplished - I almost wouldn't believe it if I hadn't been there for each and every push. I find that I have to keep reminding myself that tomorrow brings the last 45k - I really don't know how I should feel. But I do know that I'm definitely looking forward to the ride .......
The crew that is out with us have been amazing. There are about 38 riders and 15 volunteers. Having them here makes it all the better - and definitely a good time. Some of them are really pushing themselves further than they likely expected - that's par for the course out here. Their enthusiasm is the best though - so contagious. Even when the rain started to come they kept on, kept positive, and built some incredible fenders for their wheels. Wild. I'm continually surprised by the number of people that have surrounded us - and there are more to come! We're still expecting a crew to join us here at the Maple Ridge Fairgrounds in time for our 9am departure. Then hopefully more will meet us on the road ... And even more will meet us at Stanley Park. Come one, come all! We've come so far and would really love to have as many as possible out to share in our finale.
