Kick-Ass Kicker Big Air Bash V Set For Vegas
Nov 01 2006 / Los Angeles, CASick FMX tricks + hot girls + custom auto sound systems + 1000’s of people = Kick-ass party. Can the 5th annual Kicker Big Air Bash get any better? Yes it can, ‘cuz it’s going to be in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Wednesday, November 1.
Last year’s event started as a huge party, and got crazier and crazier as the night went on. (See last year’s photos here) But, that’s what you expect from a star-studded Vegas party. Now in its 5th year, the Kicker Big Air Bash is expected to be the biggest yet. On display will be tons of super-modified speed boats and celebrity-owned show vehicles tricked out with the biggest sound and entertainment systems Kicker has created to date. Kicker’s Roger Demaree says “We’ll roll out some of the most wicked vehicles on the planet – some will be ‘first-time seen’ masterpieces.”
That would cool enough if the party ended there. But it doesn’t, because the main event is the Big Air contest. The biggest names in FMX always show up to throw down death-defying tricks left and right. And since this is called the “Big Air Bash” you know these guys will be going bigger than they’ve gone all year. Last year we saw Travis Pastrana, Kenny Bartram, Brian Deegan, Mike Mason and others shredding the big 75-foot gap outside the Hard Rock. And considering how insane the tricks have gotten in 2006, this year’s Bash is sure to blow minds.

But wait, there’s more! It slices! It dices! It even cuts through aluminum cans! That’s right, the party keeps going. Monster Energy’s Ball of Steel moto stunt team will be there too. These guys are nuts (they are, after all, the innovators of the world’s first motorcycle ¼ pipe), so they’ll definitely put on a crazy show. Spectators will also get to check out a wicked wakeboard rail-jam demo that should be awesome. And finally, there will be live music from Atlanta-based metal band Eleven Standing Still.
Kicker’s Big Air Bash is supposed to start at 7p.m. Wednesday night and end at 10p.m. But, we all know that 10 o’clock is when the real party begins. There’s no better excuse for an overnighter in “Lost Wages” than a big night of FMX, loud music and sweet cars. So, get your ass in gear and we’ll see you there!
