“Free As A Dog” Debuts on FUEL TV June 17, 2007, At 9:30 pm ET/PT

“Free As A Dog” makes its television premiere during FUEL TV’s “Insane Cinema” programming block June 17 at 9:30 pm ET (6:30 pm PT) and will re-air more than eleven times over the next month.

“Free As A Dog- A True Dog’s Tale” is the Billabong film staring Joel “Parko” Parkinson and his faithful hound, Trey. As seen through the eyes of the ever-loyal Trey, who is also the film’s narrator, the remarkable surfing talent of Joel Parkinson is showcased like never before.

The film begins in Joel’s home turf of Coolangatta, the Queensland , Australia surf town with a glorious surfing past. It’s also the home of what is affectionately known as “The Superbank,” a man-made perfect stretch of beach that creates perfect, long, peeling waves. Obviously, Parko is one of the top dogs here and we get a really good look at his incredible surfing at this amazing spot.

One of the most notable names in free surfing, this musician and cast member of FUEL TV’s “Drive Thru” series, Donavon will share with us his travels around the world and then some. We will also get the opportunity to get clued-in on the new season of “Drive Thru, Caribbean ” on FUEL TV.
