Each winter, top action sport filmmakers and athletes, cutting-edge bands and DJs, and key figures from the entertainment industry gather in Park City, Utah, to celebrate action sports culture at the X-Dance Action Sports Film Festival. Launched in 2001, X-Dance runs alongside the Sundance Film Festival, and is widely considered the Academy Awards of the action sports world. Showcasing the best in action sports filmmaking, no other event on earth harnesses the creative energy of adrenaline culture and brings it together under one roof like X-Dance.
With its mission of nurturing growth in the world of action sports filmmaking and celebrating achievement in the culture, at large, X-Dance has roots in both the core industry as well as the mainstream, and serves as a focal point for the enormous audience living at the intersection of music, film and action sports culture.
