BE: I got my first video camera, the compact, ultra stealth Sony Video 8 Handycam in 1988. It was a constant companion on my skibum adventures till 1996 when I started getting introduced to the wonderful world of the visually spectacular 16 mm old school film cameras. Now the Arriflexs and Bolex’s seem to be joining the old Sony on the shelf as I explore the next frontier of HD.
BE:Recently Costa Rica was amazing. Morocco is very cool as is Scotland and Switzerland, not to mention Turkey and Mexico would be criminal too. I really enjoy filming in countries that are very different than what I grew up surrounded by in North America.
BE: I’ve produced 7 feature sports films and a handful of sponsor films. I’ve directed 3 of these films to date.
BE: I’m making another mountain bike film, at the moment it is untitled. Production doesn’t start for a couple more months.
