From December 14 to 16 2007, the best female snowboarders in the world will again gather on the Roxy Park at Kitzsteinhorn to compete at the 5th Roxy Chicken Jam Europe. They will fight for a € 30,000 overall prize-purse and the precious points for the Ticket To Ride (TTR) Women’s World Snowboard Tour. At most snowboard contests, the snowparks are primarily built for men. That’s why Roxy, Mellow Constructions and snowboard star Tina Birbaum founded the Roxy Chicken Jam five years ago: a snowboard contest for girls only. Here, the snowparks and the event format are especially designed for women – and their performance is remarkably better! This trend was confirmed by the founding of the TTR Women's World Snowboard Tour three years ago. The Roxy Chicken Jams in Kaprun and in the USA both are rated as 6-star events and are the biggest and most important events of this series crowning the TTR world champion.
