Burton's 5th Annual Queen City Sessions Dates: 11/9 Location: Burlington, VT Official Site: http://www.snowboard-mag.com/node/27845 Sport: Snowboarding Details: Burton Snowboards is proud to host the Queen City Sessions presented by Sugarbush, taking place on Friday, November 9th in downtown Burlington, Vermont. Now in its 5th year, the Queen City Sessions has become one of the most exciting events on the New England winter calendar. Marking the start of the snowboarding season, the Queen City Sessions gets the community energized for the upcoming winter. This event has served as the breeding ground for some of New England’s best talent, including Yale Cousino and Chris Rotax. Receiving national media coverage, the Queen City Sessions is known throughout the industry as one of the premier regional snowboarding events. Admission is free, and large crowds gather to watch the action on St. Paul Street, right in the heart of downtown Burlington. This year’s jam will showcase all new rail features, a bigger and better start structure, live graffiti, beats by DJ CRE8, tons of free giveaways, awards and a live set from local cover band, Böne Cöbra in City Hall Park on the Mixed Bag concert stage. The after party, brought to you by Mixed Bag Productions and Lotus Entertainment, will be held at Club Metronome with entertainment by DJ Russell, DJ A-Dog, and a very special appearance from Montreal's own, Killa Jewel. 3:00pm – 4:30pm Registration – Burton Flagship Store 5:30pm – 8:30pm Rail Jam on St. Paul Street between College and Main 8:30pm Awards Ceremony & Böne Cöbra on the Mixed Bag Concert Stage 9:00pm After party at Metronome w/ Killa Jewel, A-Dog, DJ Russell Address: Downtown Burlington, VT
