The Action Sports World Tour Dates: 9/14 - 9/16 Location: San Diego, CA Official Site: http://www.actionsportstour.com/ Sport: Skateboarding, BMX, Moto X, Rollerblading Details: The 2007 Action Sports World Tour is the only global competition circuit in action sports. It features approximately 200 of the world’s top athletes competing in professional skateboarding, BMX, inline skating and Freestyle Motocross (FMX) events. The tour, which will run from September until November in the U.S., includes stops in Phoenix, San Diego, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and Dallas. More than 200 of the world’s top professional skateboarders, freestyle BMXers, inline skaters and freestyle motocross riders will compete again in 2007 in the Tour’s eleventh year. Past Tour Champions include superstars like Bucky Lasek, Jamie Bestwick, Ryan Sheckler, Ryan Nyquist, Daniel Dhers, Takeshi Yasutoko, Sandro Dias, Fabiola da Silva, Chad Kagy and four-time World Champion, Nate Adams. All are expected back in 2007 in their quest for the prestigious Action Sports World Championships title. In addition to world-class professional competitions, each of the events also includes live concerts from nationally-renowned recording artists, freestyle motocross exhibitions, athlete autograph sessions, video games, graffiti artists, DJ’s and other festival-oriented elements synonymous with the action sports lifestyle.
