They decided to take a different path, the road less traveled, and offer something new and entirely different. For those of you that are fed up with days of 1 minute runs, over and over again, they came up with a new jam format that alleviates both stress and boredom at events. Wild In The Parks is for young up and coming skaters to come out and show their skills. Think of the event like a best trick contest; skaters are judged on the tricks they pull, never on their bails. Wild In The Parks is about giving back to the skaters. With this in mind, the series is entirely free. There are absolutely no entry fees, so anyone can enter. There are three divisions; 14 and Under, 15 and Over and Open (pro-am). Sign up at www.volcom.com or show up early to ensure a spot in the event, because they fill up quick!
