Mountain High's Buck Off Rail Jam Dates: 9/1 Location: Wrightwood, CA Official Site: http://www.mthigh.com/buck_off/index.html Sport: Snowboarding, Skiing Details: In celebration of their annual season pass sale Mt. High will be hosting the Buck Off Rail Jam. The event begins at 9am, September 1st, and continues into the late afternoon. DJs will be spinning all day, local artists will be painting rails, and everyone can relax knowing it is just a “buck”-a-beer. The event will feature: -120 tons of snow. -Up to 7 jibs for all levels and abilities. -Vendors such as DVS, 32, Matix, Quiksilver, and many more. -Huge discounts on snowboards and outerwear from Powder & Sun. -Discounts on custom Mountain High apparel. -Live rail painting exhibitions. -Great food like venison burgers and deer jerky. -Buck-A-Beer. -And DJs spinning all day. The festival is open to everyone but to ride the rails you must have a new '07/'08 Season Pass, a signed liability release and a helmet. Passes may be purchased the morning of the event or you may do so online at mthigh.com. Sales unofficially begin Thursday evening, August 30th, so you should have plenty of time.
