AST Free Flow Tour - Minneapolis/Twin Cities, MN Dates: 8/11 Location:Minneapolis/Twin Cities, MN Official Site: http://www.astdewtour.com Sport: BMX Details: BMX Park and BMX Vert competition will take place at 3rd Lair Overpass in Hopkins, MN on Saturday, August 11. The Overpass Skate Park is owned by the City of Hopkins and is operated by The 3rd Lair. The Overpass is located under the Highway 169 overpass in Hopkins. The Highway 169 overpass protects skateboarders and bikers from the rain, but not from the cold weather elements of winter. The Overpass operates as the weather permits. The Free Flow Tour is the Official Amateur Series of the AST Dew Tour. The goal of the Free Flow Tour is to find undiscovered amateur skateboarders and BMXers from across America and give them an opportunity to compete against the pros. The Free Flow Tour is stopping in 15 cities for the Skateboard portion and 12 cities for BMX during the summer of 2007. The winner from each of these contests will be flown to the Free Flow Finals to compete against the country's top amateurs. The winner of the Free Flow Finals will earn a wildcard spot to compete against the pros on the AST Dew Tour.
