Kokua Festival Dates: 4/22 Location: Honolulu, HI Official Site: http://www.kokuafestival.com/ Event: Music Details: The Fourth Annual Kokua Festival takes place on Earth Day weekend, April 21-22 at Waikiki Shell in Honolulu. This event combines music, conservation groups and eco-themed sponsors that rais money for youth environmental programs in Hawaii. The Kokua Festival, a non-profit organization was founded by musician and surfer Jack Johnson hand his wife Kim. Funds raised from the Kokua Festival will be used to support school recycling on O'ahu, sponsor field trips and curriculum and develop the new farm-to-school program 'AINA in Schools.
