So it was only natural for beauty giant L’Oreal to scoop him up as the newest face (and hottest body) to represent L’Oreal Paris’ sun care line Solar Expertise, with the tagline “Yes to summer, no to premature skin ageing.”
It wasn’t good looks alone that landed Kelly Slater the campaign; it was also his commitment to the environment that made the world champion surfer a shoe-in. With plenty of experience in the sun, Slater understands the importance of protecting the skin from sun damage (sun burn and premature aging- not good things). That knowledge came in handy when Slater shared his knowledge with L’Oreal to create an upcoming line of products that are all organic.
Now maybe this will put those stereotypes to rest that all surfers are just beach bums who only care about bikini clad babes and tan lines. Not to say that those are things that should be ignored- Slater has been connected to some famous regulation hotties such as Pamela Anderson, and super model Gieselle Bundschen. Perhaps that is where Kelly Slater got his modeling chops.
