Prelim results from Thursday, Sept. 20:
Sheckler, Lutzka Lead Skate Street Prelims in SLC
Ryan Sheckler regained his spot at the top of the podium Thursday, if only for the Skate Park prelims, at the Toyota Challenge in Salt Lake City. Sheckler edged Greg Lutzka for the top spot, setting up another showdown between the two for the title on Saturday night.
Austen Seaholm, Rodolfo Ramos and Chad Fernandez were among the other notable names to make the finals, which will consist of the top 12 skaters from the field of 24 that competed today. Also notable were the skaters who missed the final cut, led by Sheckler's Plan B teammates Jereme Rogers, who ranked 22nd for the day, and Paul Rodriguez, who ranked 16th.
