I know that this Element video is pretty damn spectacular. I haven’t even seen it yet but I just know it will be dope. Anytime you put the likes of Nyjah Huston, Nick Garcia, Mark Appleyard, and Levi Brown together in a foreign country, you know that madness will ensue. I know that there is some skating in here that local JAPANESE folks don’t have the brain cells necessary to comprehend what they just saw. I know that despite all the wonderful architecture Japan has to offer, these Element skaters will add another, um, element to the vast landscape.
But honestly, I don’t want to talk about these skaters. I want to talk about another special Japanese man named Kagawa. Shinji Kagawa. He plays for the same team that I’d grab a pair of NUTS over: MANCHESTER UNITED. Kagawa will be taking the field this weekend and for some odd reason, I know that he will make our club proud. I also have a weird feeling that he will make history. I don’t know what it is, but he just will.
After that game is played, I’ll give more time to the Element video. In the meantime, you can go ahead and take a look.
On a recent adventure Nyjah Huston, Nick Garcia, Mark Appleyard and Levi Brown headed out for a week in the the land of the rising sun… Japan. There the team met up with Element Japan riders to skate the streets, put on a demo and discover new terrain. Also check out the new Skateboarder Magazine where you’ll find an article on this tour with photography by Brian Gaberman.
