What happened to Pharrell Williams? He used to be all over the place. Pharrell Williams was best known as a member of the Neptunes, the production team behind smash hits like Justin Timberlake’s “Like I Love You” and Nelly’s “Hot In Herre.” I’ve got to say, I miss that guy. Since he’s been mostly incognito, I’ve had to resort to idolizing that other cutie, AKON as the number one producer who puts himself in songs. Even though he seems to be low key these days, he’ still a skater at heart: growing up in VA, he rode rails and skated ramps through junior high and high school. Now he’s giving back to the sport he loves with the Team Ice Cream, a group of mostly-minority skaters he’s been mentoring.
