It’s about time there’s a quiz show dedicated to skateboarding! With our 30 plus year history, skateboarding has enough content, videos, historical figures, pop icon references, and FASHION SENSE to fill up several seasons of quiz show material. We are no longer a single topic on Jeopardy where the given answer is: “This skateboarder is also known as Hawk Man-X”. We are now given complete legitimacy.
With this new skateboarding quiz show in its early conception, there will definitely be room to grow. So in the meantime, let’s take a look at some of the world’s greatest game show hosts for inspiration.
This lil pimp from Family Feud taught me everything I know about picking up on women. You can’t let them get away, and when they do mistakenly pull away, you have to pull them back and give them a tender kiss on the hand. Then on the cheeks. And possibly on the lips even though the husband or dad is standing next to her. Richard Dawson taught me this lesson.
Most of you may know this guy from the show Unwrapped where he travels all over the country to find out how your favorite foods are created. But back in the 90’s this was one bad dude. He was the host of the greatest kid quiz show of all time, Double Dare. Not only that, but he has a deep down OCD. I’d like to see him and OCD activist, HOWIE MANDEL mud wrestle.
Ryan Seacrest isn’t a game show host but since he can do anything his HEART desires, I believe he can set a template for hosting a skate quiz show. I just like it when he says, “Seacrest, Out!”
