Figuratively speaking, Tony Hawk is already considered to be one of the sweetest dudes alive. There’s no question when you take a look at his incredible resume that goes back some 30 plus years. His skateboarding is without a doubt, some of the sweetest skating you will ever see. Tony is also known to be a sweet actor. With his complex role as a pizza delivery boy in Gleaming The Cube, Tony’s acting prowess is second to none. He’s even able to reach out to the sluggish lazy kids who do nothing but stay indoors and play video games all day. With an amazing arsenal of video games headlining his name, Tony Hawk is validated as a man of sweetness.
Tony Hawk is now entering into the cupcake arena for a chance to be literally sweet. Does he have what it takes? Tony Hawk is partnering with Sprinkles Cupcakes, the world’s first cupcakes-only bakery, to sell a charitable cupcake in his name. The Tony Hawk Cinnamon Sugar Cupcake will be sold at all ten national Sprinkles locations, including their store in New York City (780 Lexington Ave), from September 21st to the 23rd. 100% of the proceeds from the Tony Hawk cupcakes will be donated to the Tony Hawk Foundation.
I’m sure Tony will do really well with his cause but with so many men who have come before him in the realm of sweet, let’s hope Tony can compete with the greats.
Willy Wonka – Tony will have to learn from the master if he ever expects to have his own candy factory and an army of midget slaves.
The Candyman – As fun and exciting candy may sound to the commoner, candy is actually a vicious game of sharks. Who can teach Tony this game? The Candyman can.
Luis – And finally, as an up and comer, I think Tony can learn a lot from Luis, the ice-cream man from my block. Luis knew how to handle a profession juggling punk ass kids and tempting delicious treats all at once.
Good luck Tony!
Tony Hawk will also be making an appearance at Sprinkles La Jolla along with Candace Nelson, founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes, on September 21st from 1 to 3 PM.
