Did you know that CINCO DE MAYO is not what most Americans think it is?  Most people think that it’s Mexican Independence Day when in fact it’s the day a region in Mexico known as Puebla fought off the French in war and won.  So it really has nothing to do with the rest of Mexico.  Mexicans laugh at how we Americans celebrate the day.  The real Mexican Independence Day is September 16.  So what is the lesson here?  Americans love finding any reason to get WASTED.  So instead of getting wrecked with a bunch of poser MEXICANS, why not do something productive and go skate for a cause?

The Sheckler Foundation is proud to announce the skateboarders and sponsors for the 3rd Annual SKATE FOR A CAUSE event, presented by etnies. The event which will take place on May 5, 2012 at the etnies Skatepark of Lake Forest will help benefit A.skate and allow fellow skateboarders, sponsors and the community to have fun while giving back by helping kids on the Autism Spectrum.
