Just when you thought that skateboarding was enough for a young, motivated, prepubescent redhead named SHAUN WHITE, you were wrong. If you thought that being one of the greatest chaps to ever ride a snowboard was enough for a tween SHAUN WHITE, you were wrong. And if you thought that having his own fashion line at one of the leading French retailers in the country in TARGET (pronounced “tar-zhay”), you again were wrong. Shaun White has dominated everything he has touched and it appears that nothing will stop him at the pace he has taken.
Shaun is reminiscent of another pair of young entrepreneurs who have gone on to have a net worth of over a billion dollars, the OLSEN TWINS. They have done great for themselves but have somewhat become vampires of the underworld. You know what I’m talking about: always chillin in the shadows of the night, wearing oversized clothing to hide from sunlight, and have the appearance of cute cuddable raccoons at a camp site. So please Shaun, when you read this tomorrow morning with your cup of coffee, please take a friendlier more personable route to becoming a billionaire. Don’t let the fame and limelight of getting rich turn you into a monster. You have the smile of a billionaire. Let the world see that SMILE.
Friday night Shaun White hosted the Supply Co. Kick-Off Party at TAO to celebrate the launch of the newest line in his growing empire. The Olympic Gold Medalist and his friends enjoyed the restaurant’s signature dishes and then made their way to the nightclub, taking over a VIP table on the dance floor. White took photos with female fans who converged on the table and was surprised with a cake adorned with a snowboard. As foam rained on the dance floor, the party stood atop the banquette and took in the sounds of DJ Reach. The athlete made a stop in the DJ booth to finish the night, which turned into a bit of comedy as Reach, who mistakenly thought it was the host’s birthday, got the entire crowd to join in to say “Happy Birthday Shaun” and played “It’s Your Birthday”. White was unfazed and went along with it, enjoying the extra celebration.
Actress Jamie Chung was also spotted at TAO Nightclub and was joined by friends including her Sorority Row co-star Briana Evigan.
