Gretchen Bleiler Featured On The Jay Leno Show

Most people I talk to prefer any late night chat show host to Jay Leno.  Most people I talk to find Jay Leno boring and not funny.  David Letterman is well known for his snappy remarks.  He also gets little boys to FLASH him.  Conan O’Brien is known as the Harvard Grad who appeals to stoner college students with a high I.Q.  Jimmy Kimmel used to be part of Conan’s demographic up until he got his own show.  Plus he always looks STONED.  I even know some people who prefer the talentless CARSON DALY over Jay.  Why?  I have no idea.  That one makes no sense to me.  I think that the only talk show host that I prefer to Jay is either Magic from THE MAGIC HOUR, or Arsenio Hall.  I could really relate to those dudes.

But the reason why I love Jay is because Jay allows his guests to be the center of the spotlight.  Don’t get me wrong.  I think Conan is funny as hell.  He was a master as a writer and director on the SIMPSONS and every night on his show is like watching stand up.  But the problem with that is while he’s conducting interviews, he steals most of the spotlight because he is so funny.  Letterman makes his guests look like fools.  Carson Daly distracts the viewers by them wondering how he got a show in the first place.  You need a neutral yet likeable host like Jay.  Not to mention, he’s actually a really smart guy who keeps up with current events.  He was a regular on Politically Incorrect and he always made great points.

In the video below, Jay interviews Gretchen Bleiler on the Jay Leno Show.  Snowboarders are getting tons of love around the country right now in build up for the Olympic Games in a few weeks.  It takes place at the Winter X Games in Aspen and in order for the common household to get accustom with the athletes, And as I mentioned above, Jay allows Gretchen to shine.
