Join HURLEY for the Unveiling of New Artwork by DALEK

The old saying goes “Art is subjective”, this means that a work is art if the person looking at it considers it art. I agree with this saying because someone who is looking at a Jackson Pollock work and doesn’t know anything about art history thinks it’s just a bunch of splattered paint on a canvas ( If you haven’t seen the movie about him, it’s pretty awesome. The bad guy from “The Rock” plays him and he was a crazy dude). I took a lot of art history classes in college and I have learned a thing or two about art, so let me teach you about a couple of my favorite artists:

Thomas Kinkaide: Dude paints beautiful country houses, using mostly pastel colors. If you don’t like beautiful country houses, then I don’t like you. Plus they look really good on the walls of tract homes.

Gustav Klimt: There is a reason why this painting is in more sorority dorm rooms than anything other work of art, because if there is one thing that sorority girls know it is fine art.

Sandro Botticelli: I’m not really familiar with this dude’s art but the one picture of his that I have seen is the kind of subject matter I enjoy, wink wink.
