Wow, this is amazing. I didn’t even know that there was a world cup of skateboarding until today, which is great because now we (the U.S.) can introduce every other type of skateboarding competition into this event. Just by looking at the pictures, I think that the World Cup Of Skateboarding entails a street course along with a vert ramp making it pretty typical for a skate contest. But little do the members of the World Cup Of Skateboarding organization know that there’s a small town in the state of Arizona holding a special contest of their own this weekend. If you read my post yesterday, you along with the world discovered what is probably the best skate contest known to mankind.
The Fastest KICKFLIP Skateboard contest is going down this weekend in Arizona. Not to rain on the World Cup of Skateboarding because what they are doing is phenomenal, but I believe that in no matter what contest whether it be the X Games, Dew Tour, Battle At The Berrics, or the NICKELODEON Kids Choice Awards, I will vouch for the Fastest Kickflip Contest with all my loyalty and respect. Not until there’s another contest that can either match or better the Fastest Kickflip Skate contest will I step down as Speaker of the Fastest Kickflip Contest. It’s that good and I can’t wait to see the results from the contest this weekend.
So World Cup Of Skateboarding board members, please take notice. It will bring your contest to an entirely new level. In addition check out the WORLD CUP photo gallery as it is full of 100% awesomeness. The event went down in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil this past weekend at the Nescau’s Energy Street Festival with Argentina’s Milton Martinez taking home first place and $10,000. Check out the WORLD CUP website for more info, pictures, and maybe you can contact them in regards to adding the Fastest Kickflip event to their contest.
