Who Do You Think Should Be The 2009 Thrasher Skate Of The Year?

I’ve been vouching and nominating ESPN Asia X-GAMES host Paul Higgins for many years now and it never seems like anybody is ever listening.  I’ve been vouching and nominating SAMMY CURTIS for over a decade now and still nobody is ever listening, I think Willy Manaloto Santos lent me an ear but that’s just because they starred in a hit film together.  So that means for many years now, the world of skateboarding has gone time after time not noticing these special jewels from the world of action sports.  And I believe that to be a shame.

So remember as you vote for your favorite skater, please keep in mind how they affected your life.  Don’t just go with the flow and vote for someone just because Yowey Simpson from down the street voted for Leo Romero for his contribution to the Baker Team.  Vote for him because you like the way he wears his hair.  Or don’t vote for SEAN MALTO just because he could possibly be the next Eric Koston.  Vote for him just because he looks like Eric Koston and for the fact that he’s half Filipino.  And finally, when you’re hovering your mouse around each skater’s name and you come across someone quite obvious like Paul Rodriguez, don’t forget that his father is responsible for one of the most important films of all time.  I’m sure you can guess which ONE.

So make this one vote count kids.  Go over to the THRASHER website and take a long good look at the possibilities because this will effect this person’s world for the rest of the year and next.
