Sk8 Mafia Coming To An O.C. Demo Near You

Being part of the mafia is a scary thing. I was been exposed to the mafia life at a very young age. You would usually associate mafia with GANGSTERS or people of organized crime and that really sucks because gangs terrorize people. I guess I was just fortunate to be on the right side of this type of organized crime. This mafia I was apart of actually took place at my elementary school in the small city where I grew up in WALNUT.
A bunch of kids, around 8-9 years old wanted to start an exclusive gang. I’m not exactly sure what kind of criteria these kids required in order for you to be a member but all I know was that I was invited. I never had to get jumped in. I never had to do anything illegal. I was just invited. We called ourselves the Playboy Mafia. Now that I think of it, we were a pretty diverse group of gang bangers. We had whites, blacks, Latinos, Asians, and even one Russian kid named Isaac. We might as well have been called the League of Nations.
The Playboy Mafia would do things to terrorize other innocent students on the yard. Things like stealing the handball and kicking it over the tree. Maybe throw wet paper towels over the stalls while a kid was taking a dump. Those were fun times and it was a great time to be a kid. That was until the principal discovered what we were doing and broke up our gang.
That’s why I have always been fond of mafias. But nothing beats the infamous Playboy Mafia. Speaking of mafias, the Sk8 MAFIA will be doing a demo and team signing in the OC this coming weekend.
