Win Some Cash At The 2nd Annual Halloween Hellraiser In NYC

I’m a west coast LA guy so I get to see my share of freaks out here.  I know that everyone has his or her own definition of what a freak is and I too have my own definition of what makes a freak.  But here in Los Angeles, I see many different types of freaks running around town.  Starting in East LA, we’ve got the CHOLO FREAK.  These usually are known as gangsters but to me, they look really freakish.  They tend to wear oversized ugly clothes, have shaved heads, their eyebrows look like sperms, and they have mean looking tattoos all over their faces.  Then we move into the downtown area.  Actually there aren’t many freaks in downtown.  There are a lot of homeless, drug addicted, prostitutes, but I wouldn’t pick on them.  They have a hard enough life as is.

But we can talk crap about the Echo Park freaks.  If it were 20 years ago, the freaks from East LA would look like the Echo Park freaks but they over the years have moved out.  The guys named ZACHARY and CHASE who through dad’s money were able to move into a poor neighborhood to gentrify the place the neighborhoods.  It’s a good thing that some of the OG’s were able to stay and keep some real culture in their communities.

Now we’re going to go about 12 miles West to Beverly Hills where the freaks are most apparent.  These are the people you see on TV with oversized LIPS and plenty of HAIR PLUGS.  These people transform themselves into freaks over time and it’s really sad to see someone succumb to the harmful effects of vanity.  But it’s okay because in their eyes, they are beautiful.

And finally we’ll take a trip all the way out to the ocean.  Venice Beach is home to plenty of freaks, or as they like to be called, hippies.  These are the most accepted type of freaks because deep down, they’re really nice.  But as I mentioned earlier, everyone has their own definition of what a freak is.  I just don’t like DREAD LOCKS.  You may have read earlier dread lock posts of mine, but I really just can’t stand them.  And it doesn’t help that hippies prefer to walk around barefoot, which I find disgusting.
