Throughout skateboarding’s history, we’ve seen a whole host of goofy whacked out skaters who have taken skateboarding to the next level, clown wise. These people look at skateboarding on a different level. While most skaters see a clean set of stairs, they drool at the opportunity of maybe doing a kickflip or a tre flip down it. The more innovative skaters look at the set of stairs and think about doing a switch hard flip down the set. That’s great and all but there are the other skaters who take the set to an entirely new level. Someone like DAEWON SONG, who will set up two lunch benches down the stairs, and pull off a nose manuel to nose blunt down the set.
Of you can look at a skater who literally is a clown. Simon Woodstock was the master at turning every day household items into a shred stick. Things such as an ironing board, surfboard, and a fish tank were all transformed into skateboards.
Now someone needs to pass on the torch to the next clown. Who out there is the most outspoken, self indulgent, attention grabbing skater out there right now? Who else but ANTHONY PAPPALARDO! This guy is being mentored by the one and only Mark Gonzales. Check out their latest stunt on the streets of NYC. This circle skateboard looks like the next big thing. Directed by WILLIAM STROBECK, this turned out to be a quirky film.
