Inside The Skateboarder’s Studio With Mike Carroll

Growing up skateboarding in the 90’s, you most likely had to be exposed to Plan B’s first video QUESTIONABLE VIDEO.  I most certainly was.  That was the video that pushed me to follow my heart and do skateboarding full time.  I still went to school but instead of continuing KARATE, pursuing my POG collection, and collecting episodes of SMALL WONDER, I decided to put my undivided attention to skateboarding, and that was all thanks to Mike Carroll and the Plan B team.

But I think that the skate community has one person to thank for Plan B’s success:  Mike Ternasky.  Without the ambitious team and skate videos he put together, skateboarding would still be run by a bunch of kids who don’t know what they are doing.  That’s great and all, but if you need to make a living, he set the prototype.  You can’t get through life with free stickers and t-shirts.

That’s why it’s great to see that throughout all these years, Mike Carroll and his POSSE are still in the game with new roles as entrepreneurs.  And they are grooming the little TIKES to take over when they become of age.  One more thing:  Nothing represent class more than BOONES FARM.  Yummm.  Throw up.  Check out this cool question and answer over at ACTIVE
