There’s a great line in the even greater film MAGNOLIA that goes, “You may be through with the past, but the past is not through with you”. I’m about to tell you something I’m not very proud of. This is something that haunts me on a daily basis particularly because it is something from my past. You see, I used to be a gangster, and it was not just some gang. We were important. We mattered. We were the Newsies. It started way back when a few of the fellas had paper routes in within our city. And in order to keep up with the infiltration of big corporations, we were forced to create our own gang. We would DANCE the loudest, sing the loudest, and boy were we heard. Unfortunately, the Newsies later became a white supremacist group.
There will be another type of turf war going on September 26, 2009 in one of the most dangerous parts of Los Angeles. Paramount Studios. Some of the most dangerous gangs in LA will be present to throw down in an all out ROYAL RUMBLE. Girl, Flip, Blind, Creature, Black Label, Foundation, Toy Machine, SK8MAFIA, Zoo York, and the WARRIORS will be going at with complete DISDAIN for one another.
