The Disposable Skateboard Bible Book Launch @ Huf

As I’m writing this outside my HOME in Los Angeles, there are tiny specs of ash falling from the sky. It’s 98 DEGREES outside and I couldn’t feel more disgustingly miserable brought on by this heat. Last night coming home from the airport, I got a clear, almost picturesque view of the cityscape that makes up LA. And right behind it were the forest fires, which are practically engulfing the only natural remnants left in LA. But to tell you the truth, I actually wouldn’t mind if the forest fires took out some of the landmarks that taint the city with visual pollution. If only the fires could navigate its way around the Hollywood Hills and down onto MERLOSE AVE. And right at Fairfax/Melrose, the fires would be doing this city a great service if it took down the ED HARDY Flagship store. And right after accomplishing that, the fire would make plenty of people happy by burning down the recording studio that recorded THIS SONG.
There are quite a few salvageable spots around Los Angeles though. One of which is the HUF store, which you already know is owned by the RICKY SCHROEDER. Plus I’m all about Huf’s DOUGHBOYS. They’re great for everyday shoes, traveling, and NINJA APPAREL.
In addition to having great clothes, HUF along with Ginko Press will be hosting a coming out party for the DISPOSABLE SKATEBOARD BIBLE. The only bible I usually pay attention to is The great book of MORMON but I’m willing to give this book a shot. Along with free VODKA, this party will also include special guest Sean Cliver, who will be there to sign copies of the book. Don’t try to bring your copy of the VAMPIRE DIARIES. He won’t sign it.
Check out the flyer below for the date and location.
