PLG Takes Dew Tour Portland Skate Vert Comp

Rocking a retro Dead Milkmen t-shirt, Pierre-Luc Gagnon dominated the Skate Vert finals at the Dew Tour’s Wendy’s Invitational in Portland on Friday night. Second-place finisher Andy Macdonald was more than five full points behind, allowing PLG to hold back his best stuff for a future comp.
“I was going to pull even bigger and better tricks in my third run, but I clipped the deck and fell. Thankfully it was still enough to win so I’m stoked,” Gagnon said. “I plan to carry that third run into the next Dew Tour stop in Salt Lake City.”
Bucky Lasek, who won the first Skate Vert contest in Boston last month, had trouble completing a clean run and landed in sixth place. Veteran Sandro Dias was third.

too bad we don’t actually get to watch any of the finals from Friday…two finals to choose from and the dew tour people decide to re-run a mediocre skate park comp from Boston…much rather would’ve watched BMX dirt…i must say, im a bit confused haha

Yeah – totally agreed. The Dew Tour site still had it as this event showing on USA. Something must have happened to screw it up.
