“Today Was A Good Day” With P-Rod

For a good 2 solid years, the Lakai team has been stealing the entire skate shoe spotlight.  They didn’t really steal it, but created a video so sick that people talked about it for two years.  A few of the other teams tried to share in the glory but none came close to accomplishing what Lakai had accomplished.  But that spotlight couldn’t last forever.  It was inevitable that someone else would dethrone them. 

Well it looks like that time has come.  Not only did NIKE SB dethrone the Lakai team, they took one of their biggest assets in ERIC KOSTON.  But was it really a surprise when he switched teams?  You all have seen his CRIBS. 

To add to their heat, Nike SB has produced a new commercial titled “Today Was a Good Day”, to celebrate the release of Paul Rodriguez’s third shoe.  In addition to the commercial, there will also be a web exclusive extended version of “Today Was a Good Day” that stars Paul with some special friends. This version premiers on 7/31/09 at the NIKE SB SITE.
