Sorry Del, your name is too long so I had to abbreviate it for the headline. It’s actually Del the Funky Homosapien and if you’re not familiar with him, check the first PLAN B video. It’s full of his stuff. And then there are all the Bay Area skaters skate parts. They tend to use Del as well. My personal favorite of his is DELTRON 3030. Seriously one of the sickest hip-hop albums of all time.
Well Dell along with some of the most hip-hop skaters in skateboarding (Ryan Sheckler, P-Rod, Ryan Gallant) are coming together to put on a special Plan B/Del skate demo over at Skatelab next week. The demo is on Friday July 17th, from 1PM – 4PM. Check out the flyer above for more info.
With all due respect to Del though, I wish Plan B collaborated with more mainstream hip-hop artist. It would definitely bring out a larger crowd and put SIMI VALLEY on the map. Artist like SHAGGY, A-KON, or PINK. Imagine skating with their music playing in the BACKGROUND. It be tight dawg!!
