Return Of The Holmes

The homes frame is making a comeback. The Holmes frame, was made and released by S&M bikes, back in the late 80’s early 90’s. It was made famous by the rider Dave Clymer was part of the S&M crew back in the day. Dude sported dreadlocks before they were political, raced professionally. He carved pools in leather jackets without a shirt that my friends, is what we in the streets say “it’s gangsta.”
The big news was that Clymer visited the S&M crew and HQ. They released or shall I say revealed some photos on their website. The most newsworthy part was that Clymer would be returning to racing for S&M bikes. S&M also revealed that they would be re-releasing a new version of Clymer’s signature model, the Holmes. According to S&M’s press release,
“We are going to make super limited run of the exact frame he used to ride. They look like they will be available in about a month or so. We will also have the fork, stem and headset to match. I can only imagine how excited most of you just got.”
Damn right we are excited. Maybe too excited, I think I just peed my pants.
