I love books and I can’t get enough of them. I’m very particular on specific genres like Internet thrillers, goblin tales, and autobiographies. I recently just purchased my favorite book so far this year. It’s a book by Samuel Wurzelbacher, “Joe The Plumber”. If you don’t know who Joe The Plumber is, I feel sorry for you. He’s a true American with good American values. That’s why I was shocked when I went to his BOOK SIGNING.
I’m sure that 98% of you don’t read books. And the 2% of you that do read only pick up comic books or the Perez Hilton blog. But I implore you to reconsider the wealth of knowledge books can offer and to pick up the first ever Vans book full of history and big bright shiny photos. Three skate legends will soon hit the road to celebrate the release of Vans first-ever book, Vans: Off the Wall, featuring 20-some-odd stories that collectively tell the story of the brand: from Rowley to Warped Tour, from Customs to Joel Tudor, from Alva and Cab to artist collabs. Vans power trio of Tony Alva, Steve Caballero and Steve Van Doren will be hosting book signings at Vans stores in Washington D.C., Houston and Dallas, as well as at powerHouse Arena in Brooklyn.
