Ah Paris! The City of Lights! The City of Love! How I adore you. You gave us the Eiffel Tower, berets, mimes and fries. You gave us great cinema in the form of the French New Wave, The Professional and Gerard Depardieu. The way you speak, with your accent is so sexy and French. If I could marry you I would in a heartbeat. I love you France, with your rich history, your women, Serge Gainsbourg, your pooped lined streets, your croissants and your Moulin Rouge. You gave us the Statue of Liberty, we gave you Jerry Lewis. You gave us fashion, we gave you Cross Colours. You gave us the beautiful literary works of Proust and Balzac, we gave you Biggy and Tupac. Touche France!!! Sometimes I feel as though I love you more than you love me. I think that if you got to know me better, you would learn to love me too.
The good people over at VBStv.com, in conjunction with Vans brings to you a new series called “Skate Europe”. This week, they bring light to the fine monsieur’s of Paris, France, with all their trials and tribulations of what it is/was to skate in the “City of Lights”. The ongoing series, which initially started in London, England “ello’ guvna! Ow ah you todai?”, will trek to other notable European countries to shine some light on what it’s like to be a skater in Europe today. It is what the French would call “tres bien” or “very good” for you non-French speaking folks. This on going series was a way for VBStv to capitalize on all you skate rats that are already having Epicly Later’d withdrawl. I guess for some of you, a ten part Guy Mariano segment was not enough. So…good news for you guys with little to no patience, all 5 parts have been uploaded for your viewing pleasure. Au Revoir!
