Stolen

Getting your bike stolen can be a stressful situation. To most BMX’ers, your bike is more than just a toy; it is a way to express yourself, a ticket to fame and fortune, a source of transportation, and if you are lucky….. a way to get a PROM DATE. I know the pain of having a bike stolen from outside a liquor store while trying to beat M.Bison on Street Fighter II; then having to go home and tell my dad that “I only left it for a second” and that “it was probably those gangsters smoking in front of the store.”
Cris Arriaga, who rides for Giant feels my pain. He had his car broken into and stolen along with an Ipod, a taser, a knife and the new 2010 prototype for the new bike by Giant. Cris, buddy, I feel your pain. Even though I have never owned a prototype of anything, I did own a bike once and it broke my heart when it got stolen. Hopefully the police will “find time” to solve this caper and return the bike to its rightful owners.
Oh…and by the way, Cris, if your dad gets mad at you, feel free to “blame it on the gangsters”, it worked for me. Well, that and crying.
