There are only three bowls that I really care about. One is my morning bowl of cereal every morning. It usually switches up from Count Chocula to Lucky Charms from time to time. Two is my haircutting bowl. My haircutting bowl is obvious. It’s the bowl I place around my head while I’m cutting MY HAIR. The third and final bowl that really deserves my attention is the most anticipated bowl contest of the year. The 5th Annual Pro-tec Pool Party, which will be going down at the Van Skatepark this year has to be one of the gnarliest skate contests around.
Where else will you see 40 top pros who are all vying for their piece of a $90,000 purse in one of the most unforgiving bowls ever built. Held in a near exact replica of the infamous Upland Combi at the Vans Skatepark in Orange, the 2009 Pool Party is going to turn out some of the best bowl action of the year.
The event is on Saturday, May 16 from 1 pm to 9 pm. Catch a live HD webcast of the entire event powered by FUEL TV at vans.com/poolparty
