For those of you who follow street wear culture pretty closely, I’m sure you’ve already seen a few episodes of the now famous and very popular Daichi Ito. A few months ago, NIKE Sportswear launched the Limited Edition TV with Japanese host Daichi Ito. In the first episode, Daichi spoke to Dave from Dave’s Quality Meat. It was definitely an entertaining show and worth checking out. But it got me thinking. Maybe Diachi was a little too inspired by the much smellier and more awkward Borat. And even better than Borat is the highly anticipated BRUNO. Nobody is a better interviewer than Bruno form Austria.
But in this week’s episode of Limited Edition TV, Daichi gets an inclusive interview with the “#1 Skater In The World”, Keith Hufnagel. In this age of hi-def and elaborate production value, Ito’s show kind of takes a step back and looks like it was shot with in 1984. But regardless, take a look at this dope interview, which was shot at Huf’s store, Huf, over there on Fairfax and Melrose and have a good time trying to decipher what the heck is coming out of Daichi’s mouth.
