San Clemente is just one of them. Here it’s being presented by Monster Energy. So get your board ready, wax that ish , paddle that ish, and ride them waves in honor of the sacred connection between man and Earth. Pardon moi Ladies, I mean Human and Earth. It was five years ago, that the Surf rider Foundation and Surfing Magazine started International Surfing Day. Its ideals wee to celebrate the sport, culture, and love affair that we all have with surfing. It’s a chance to give back in the forms of beach clean ups, restoration projects all over the world that are organized by Surf rider Foundation.
“We are really excited to be celebrating International Surfing Day’s five year anniversary,” says Laura Mazzarella, Surf rider Foundation’s Marketing Manager told us. She also informed us that Surf rider Foundation came up with five on-site challenges for everyone to participate in. Here are the categories. You Tube Challenge: Best ISD Influence Video, Most Unique Piece of Trash, Best Trash Sculpture, Costume Party: Best Costume While Riding a Wave, and Most Spots Surfed on ISD: Photo and/or Video Contest.

the date confuses me. it’s advertised as june 20th, but the numerical date suggests 21st july even though it says JUNE adjacent. wtf
